Complete each encounter, then return to Delamain’s headquarters when he calls to finish the side job, return the scanner, and collect the completion payment.
How Epistrophy works
Epistrophy becomes available after Delamain’s Tune Up. Delamain gives V coordinates for seven divergent vehicles. The map objectives appear as separate Epistrophy entries, and each cab uses a different recovery mechanic. Your objective is to reestablish the connection between Delamain and his divergent forms.

Use the checklist below to identify the district, landmark and required action for every cab. If one entry is still incomplete, its sub-job remains on the list until its encounter is resolved.
All seven Delamain cab locations

Step-by-step route for difficult encounters
Wellsprings: wait for the follow-up marker
Enter the Wellsprings search area rather than looking for a permanent cab pin. Delamain calls after you arrive, and the newly revealed marker leads to the actual vehicle.

Northside: keep the cab in view
This is a chase, not a carjacking. Follow the vehicle through Northside until its crash into the shack triggers the resolution.
North Oak: protect the vehicle on the return trip
Once seated, drive the cab to Delamain HQ. Avoid reckless collisions and unnecessary combat damage; the return drive can fail if the car is damaged too heavily.

Rancho Coronado: complete the flamingo count
Remain close enough to maintain the signal while destroying all eight flamingos. The conversation with the divergent personality becomes the final step only after the object objective is complete.
Badlands: board the landfill cab
Travel to Red Peaks and approach the vehicle at the Municipal Landfill. Enter it when the interaction prompt appears to resolve the retrieval.

The Glen: use dialogue, not force
At the Hanford & McBride overlook, wait for Delamain’s call and choose the conversation path that talks the cab down. Physical interference with the vehicle can end the encounter instantly.
Coastview: expect resistance
Search near Grand Imperial Mall and Pacifica Serenity Bible Church, watching for the cab’s patrol route. Hostile enemies may be present, so clear or evade them while keeping the cab encounter as your priority.

What to do after the seventh cab
- Finish whichever Epistrophy entry is still active.
- Wait for Delamain to contact V about the completed set.
- Return to Delamain’s headquarters.
- Return the scanner and complete the conversation.
The quest record reports an additional 4,900 eurodollars on completion. Individual sub-jobs also display experience or reward entries, but those figures can vary with game state and how the source presents them, so there is no universal per-cab payout to rely on.

Finding the missing Epistrophy entry
- Check that all seven names appear as completed: Wellsprings, Northside, North Oak, Rancho Coronado, Badlands, The Glen and Coastview.
- For Wellsprings, return to the marked area and wait for Delamain’s call before searching for the cab.
- For Northside and Coastview, remember that the vehicles move; search the route rather than only the original marker.
- For Rancho Coronado, verify that all eight flamingos were destroyed.
- For North Oak, confirm that the cab was delivered to Delamain HQ without excessive damage.
- After the final resolution, go back to headquarters instead of waiting for another map marker; the completion conversation occurs there.
