Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition launched on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025. It includes the base game and Phantom Liberty, and is available as a physical 64 GB game card or a digital download. The physical card runs the game directly, while the two graphics modes offer different resolution and frame-rate targets.
How much does Cyberpunk 2077 cost on Switch 2?
Launch prices varied by region and format. Nintendo Life’s listings recorded these prices on June 5, 2025; they are historical launch prices, not current retailer quotes.

What performance modes does the Switch 2 version have?
CD PROJEKT RED lists Quality and Performance modes. These are targets, not guarantees that every scene will hold a fixed frame rate.

The publisher says handheld play uses variable refresh rate (VRR) for a smoother experience. In a June 6, 2025 review, Nintendo Life described occasional stutters while loading new areas during driving, along with some hitches and graphical anomalies in Dogtown. Those are observations from one reviewer, not a guarantee of what every player will encounter.
How much storage does it need, and does the physical version require a download?
CD PROJEKT RED describes the game as approximately 59 GB. Nintendo UK lists the digital download as 60.6 GB. These are figures from different sources and should not be treated as the same measurement.

- Physical copy: The 64 GB game card runs the base game directly, so it does not need to be installed to internal storage to play from the card.
- Updates and language packs: Future updates and additional language packs require internal or SD storage for both physical and digital copies, and may increase the total space needed.
What does Ultimate Edition include, and what Switch 2 controls does it support?
The edition combines the original Cyberpunk 2077 story with Phantom Liberty, the spy-thriller expansion featuring the Dogtown district. The Switch 2 adaptation supports Joy-Con 2 motion controls, gyroscope aiming, touchscreen commands, and mouse functionality using the right Joy-Con 2.
