What is Death Falls: Zombies Are Coming?
Death Falls: Zombies Are Coming is a tower-defense and survival game from South African studio MoonCrust Games. Its central twist is mobility: defenses protect the RV at each stop, then the vehicle becomes the means of moving to another defensive location. Instead of extending one permanent fortress, players are expected to prepare a roadside position, survive the attack, and continue the trip. The Steam listing describes the player as fighting alongside their defenses rather than watching the action from a safe distance.
The official listing sums up its announced day-and-night rhythm: “By day, build towers and fences, scavenge weapons and recruit survivors. By night, fight beside your defenses as the horde closes in.”
How does the RV work?
The RV links each defense encounter to the next. At a location, players gather timber and use it to set up defenses such as watchtowers, fences, and gates, while scavenging weapons and preparing for the attack. The RV must also be repaired; once the stop is over, it enables travel to another location. That makes the vehicle both something to protect and a practical objective between last stands.

A preview published October 2, 2026 reports additional examples of the proposed locations and systems: campsites, gas stations, a guarded outpost, and a small town approached by four roads. It also describes survivors taking expedition or guard roles. Those specifics come from the preview; the Steam page establishes the broader scavenging, recruitment, RV-repair, and defense loop.
What happens during a defense?
Hordes approach along multiple roads, and players are meant to take part in the fighting while their structures help hold the position. The listed special infected each pose a different threat to a prepared site:

These descriptions suggest that a fence line alone will not answer every threat: the announced enemy behaviors target the horde’s pace, the defenses themselves, or the barriers between zombies and the RV. The available descriptions do not establish how these encounters are balanced or how they feel to play.
Is Death Falls coming to Steam, and when?
Yes. MoonCrust Games lists the game on Steam with a planned release in 2027. The store page currently marks it unavailable for purchase, so 2027 is a target year, not a confirmed launch date. The October 1, 2026 announcement coverage also reported the reveal, but the Steam page is the primary source for current availability and release timing.

Can you play Death Falls with a controller?
The Steam listing says the game has full controller support and identifies it as single-player. It does not name a tested controller model, so compatibility with a particular device is not established by that listing.
What platforms, languages, and PC requirements are listed?
Steam currently lists Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu system requirements, all marked provisional. These are store-page specifications and may change before release; they are not evidence of tested performance.

The returned Steam listing names English, French, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Russian interface support. However, the October 2 preview said Korean support was unconfirmed. Because the listings conflict, Korean should be treated as uncertain until the live store page or developer confirms it.
