In the All Good Things objective, activate the Tomb of Akarat braziers in this order: West → South → West → North → East → West. Orient yourself from the entrance: South is nearest the entrance, North is nearest the exit, West is on your left and East is on your right.
Where to find the brazier puzzle
The four-brazier objective appears in the Tomb of Akarat during the Vessel of Hatred campaign. It comes after speaking with Eru and protecting Neyrelle during her trial, and before you continue through the tomb toward the Forgotten Warden encounter, according to Wowhead’s campaign guide.
How to light all four braziers
- Use the entrance and exit to identify the directions: South is by the entrance, North is by the exit, West is left, and East is right.
- Activate the West brazier.
- Activate the South brazier.
- Activate West again.
- Activate North.
- Activate East.
- Activate West one final time.
This is the sequence reported by PC Gamer’s guide; the objective is complete when all four braziers are lit and the way onward opens.
Why the order matters
Activating a brazier changes the state of two other braziers, so a brazier may light or go out as you proceed. Follow the sequence in order rather than activating each brazier once. Enemies also spawn during the activations, as noted in Wowhead’s guide.

If the sequence does not work
The sequence is reported for the guide’s starting puzzle state. If you have already activated braziers and changed that state, it may not produce the same result. PC Gamer suggests quitting out to return to the previous quest step and repeating the approach; that is the guide’s recommendation, not a separately verified reset procedure. PC Gamer published its solution on October 7, 2024, and Wowhead updated its campaign guide on April 14, 2025. The cited guides do not establish whether a later game update changed the puzzle.
