Dice Dreams does not publicly explain Error Code 212, so there is no confirmed code-specific fix. Start with the low-risk steps: capture a screenshot, close and reopen the game, check for an update, restart your phone, and retry on a reliable connection. Don’t uninstall Dice Dreams or clear its storage until you know your progress is linked or have asked support how to protect it.
What does Dice Dreams Error Code 212 mean?
The official Dice Dreams error-help section covers general issues such as instability and events not loading, but the publicly available support material does not define code 212 or give it a dedicated fix. That means the number alone does not establish that you are banned, that your account is lost, that Facebook is at fault, or that Dice Dreams servers are down.
Note exactly when it appears: at startup, during Facebook login, while loading an event, claiming a reward, making a purchase, switching devices, or after an update. The trigger helps support investigate; it does not, by itself, prove a cause. Possible categories include a temporary connection or service problem, an outdated game, a local app-state issue, a Facebook session conflict, a compatibility issue, or a game-side bug.
Try these safe fixes first
- Save evidence. Take a screenshot showing the full error and note what you were doing when it appeared. If the game still opens, record your player ID.
- Force-close Dice Dreams and reopen it. Retry the action once.
- Test your connection. If possible, switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa, then try again. If you use a VPN or restrictive network-filtering service, temporarily disabling it can help test whether the connection is involved; it is not a confirmed cause of code 212.
- Check for a game update in the Apple App Store or Google Play. Install an available update, then restart your phone and retry.
- Wait and try again later if the error is intermittent. Check official Dice Dreams channels or in-game notices for a service announcement. Reports from other players can be a clue, but are not confirmation of an outage.
If the error affects purchases or reward claims, don’t repeatedly tap the purchase or confirmation button. Check whether you were charged or whether the reward arrived, and save any receipt or transaction details before trying again.

Android: clear the game cache, not its data
Dice Dreams’ Facebook-login troubleshooting guide recommends checking for updates, clearing the game cache, restarting the phone, and retrying. On Android, the menu names vary by manufacturer and OS version, but the path is usually:
- Open the phone’s Settings.
- Tap Apps, Applications, or App management.
- Select Dice Dreams, then open Storage or Storage & cache.
- Choose Clear cache.
- Do not choose Clear storage or Clear data unless you have confirmed your progress is protected and understand the effect. Those options are not the same as clearing the cache.
- Restart the phone, reopen the game, and try again.
Clearing cache is a low-risk troubleshooting step, but it is not a guaranteed fix—especially if the cause is a service-side problem.

iPhone or iPad: restart and update
iOS does not provide the same universal per-app “clear cache” control as Android. Instead, force-close Dice Dreams, restart the iPhone or iPad, and check the App Store for a game update. If you suspect compatibility, check the current store listing: Dice Dreams says supported devices and OS versions may change and points players to the current device-support guidance.
If those steps fail, contact support before deleting the app if you are unsure whether your progress is saved. Reinstall only after verifying that your game account is linked or support has advised you how to recover it.

If Error 212 appears during Facebook login
Use this branch only if the error occurs while connecting to Facebook or signing in. Dice Dreams’ official Facebook-login steps recommend:
- Temporarily uninstall the Facebook app.
- Make sure only the Facebook account you intend to use is signed in. Check both the Facebook app and your phone’s browser for other active sessions.
- Close and reopen the browser, then confirm Dice Dreams is updated.
- On Android, clear the Dice Dreams cache using the steps above; don’t clear storage or data.
- Restart the phone.
- Reinstall Facebook, sign in to the intended account, and try connecting again.
Multiple Facebook accounts or browser sessions can cause the wrong account to be selected. Avoid cycling through accounts at random: first identify which Facebook account is linked to the Dice Dreams profile you want.

Protect your progress before reinstalling
Reinstalling might help if local app files are damaged, but it is not a confirmed fix for Error 212 and should not be your first move if you cannot confirm your save is safe. Dice Dreams says a linked account saves progress and lets you open or transfer the account on another device.

- If you’re unsure whether it is linked, contact support before removing the game.
- If the game will not open, don’t uninstall it just to test. Ask support for the safest recovery steps first.
- When moving to another device, use the same linked account. If the original profile does not appear, don’t start a new game in its place; contact support with both devices’ details and the original player ID if available.
If it happened during a purchase or reward
Stop before repeating a purchase or claim that may already have completed. Check your payment method and in-game balance or inventory, and save the receipt or transaction ID if you were charged. Tell Dice Dreams support what you attempted and what was delivered. If a store payment was charged but the item was not delivered, contact the relevant app-store billing support as well. Don’t assume the game can automatically reverse or restore an item.

Contact Dice Dreams support
For an undocumented code that persists after the safe checks, Dice Dreams directs players to Settings → Support → Contact Us. If you cannot open the game, use the official bug-or-crash support guidance and request form, or email [email protected]. The support guidance asks for the user ID and incident details, including the platform, time, and action involved.
Include as much of this checklist as you can:
- Error code: 212, plus a screenshot or screen recording.
- Your Dice Dreams player/user ID, if available.
- Device make and model, and iOS or Android version.
- Dice Dreams version, if visible.
- Date, approximate time, and time zone or country.
- The exact screen or action that triggered the error.
- Whether it happens on Wi-Fi, mobile data, or both.
- Which steps you tried and what changed, if anything.
- Whether a purchase, roll, coins, sticker, or event reward was affected; include receipts or transaction details when relevant.
If the game is inaccessible and you cannot find your player ID, say so rather than guessing. Keep any support reply or ticket reference so you can follow up with the same incident details. A report that the problem affects many players may suggest a service-side issue, but only an official notice can confirm one.
