No—not at Summer Game Fest’s main showcase on June 6, 2025. The nearby Xbox Games Showcase was a separate event on June 8, where Xbox confirmed Hollow Knight: Silksong for Xbox Ally and Xbox Game Pass at launch. The game later launched on September 4, 2025.
Did Silksong show up at Summer Game Fest 2025?
Contemporaneous coverage reported that the June 6 Summer Game Fest broadcast ended without new Silksong gameplay or an official release date. The official Summer Game Fest schedule distinguishes that main showcase from the Xbox Games Showcase held two days later, on June 8. Windows Central’s June 7 report likewise noted that the SGF broadcast had passed without a new appearance.
What happened at the June 8 Xbox showcase?
Xbox Wire’s June 8 showcase recap named Silksong as a launch title for Xbox Ally and said it would be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. That was an Xbox event announcement, not an appearance during the June 6 Summer Game Fest main show.
When did Silksong release?
Team Cherry announced on September 4, 2025, that Hollow Knight: Silksong was available: “Available now on all platforms and day one Xbox Game Pass!” Team Cherry’s announcement confirms the release date and Game Pass availability.
