Yes—third-party reports said a Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 gameplay trailer had leaked before Epic’s official reveal. A leak-labeled video listing appeared on November 29, 2024, and Epic published its official Chapter 6 Season 1 announcement on December 1. The available sources do not establish who first shared the footage or confirm that Epic authenticated the original leak.
What happened with the Fortnite Chapter 6 trailer?
The story concerned Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 6 Season 1: 鬼 HUNTERS. GamesRadar reported that a leak came before Epic revealed the season’s gameplay and cinematic trailers. A third-party YouTube listing for “Fortnite Chapter 6 | Godzilla Gameplay Trailer” was dated November 29, 2024, and described the trailer as leaked. Epic’s own season announcement followed on December 1, 2024.
That sequence supports calling it a reported leak, not an Epic-confirmed leak. The third-party listing and secondary reporting do not establish the upload’s original source, who shared the footage first, or whether Epic authenticated the material before its official reveal. The available r/FortNiteBR post from November 29 is community discussion, not authoritative confirmation.
What did Epic officially confirm for Chapter 6 Season 1?
Epic’s December 1 announcement described the season’s content and mechanics. These are official season details, distinct from anything that may have appeared in leaked footage.
