Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN is the second add-on in the Digimon Story Time Stranger Season Pass. It launched on January 22, 2026, and requires the base game. The original “available now” announcement is now historical: Bandai Namco later launched Pack 3 in March 2026, and the publisher’s current game page lists all three packs as Season Pass content.
What is the second Season Pass DLC?
Pack 2 is Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN. Bandai Namco’s January 22, 2026 announcement describes it as an add-on featuring new Digivolution routes and a story episode.

What does GAKU-RAN add?
Five Digivolution routes
The pack adds routes for BanchoLillymon, BanchoStingmon, BanchoGolemon, BanchoMamemon, and Omnimon: Merciful Mode. Bandai Namco describes the Banchos as Mega Digimon who earned the title through difficult battles while keeping their spirit.
A story episode with Hiroko Sagisaka
The episode follows Hiroko Sagisaka as players investigate dimensional distortions. BanchoLeomon and Hiroko are trapped in another dimension by Parallelmon, and players rally Bancho Digimon to help. Bandai Namco’s European Pack 2 announcement also outlines the episode and its characters.

Does it require the base game, and where is it available?
Yes. Bandai Namco states that “players will need the base game to try the season pass DLC content.” At Pack 2’s January 2026 launch, the publisher listed PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The publisher’s current game page also lists Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Nintendo’s US catalogue lists Pack 2 on Switch, but its catalogue date is July 23, 2026—not the add-on’s original January launch date. The same catalogue lists the Season Pass on July 10, 2026. Those dates refer to Nintendo’s US listings.

Should you get Pack 2 or the Season Pass?
Choose based on what you own and want: Pack 2 is the individual GAKU-RAN add-on, while the Season Pass covers three packs. The current game page says the Digital Ultimate Edition includes the base game, the Season Pass with Packs 1–3, and the Golden Moai farm-item bonus. Buying the base game alone should not be treated as including GAKU-RAN.

| Season Pass | $29.99 |

The phrase described Pack 2 at launch on January 22, 2026. Bandai Namco announced Pack 3’s launch in March 2026, and its current product page lists Packs 1, 2, and 3 in the Season Pass. For context, Bandai Namco Entertainment America reported in December 2025 that the game had sold 1 million units; that is the publisher’s milestone announcement, not an independently audited sales figure.
