Arma Reforger has an official Workshop where players can find community-made mods, either in-game or through the official website. Workshop support is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 5; individual mods may still have platform, version, dependency, or storage requirements.
Where to find the Arma Reforger Workshop
Open the Workshop from the game’s main menu to browse, download, enable, disable, or remove mods. You can also browse the official Arma Reforger Workshop website. The Workshop is the player-facing place to obtain mods; it is separate from Workbench, the PC-accessible toolset mod authors use to create them. Bohemia Interactive described Workbench as PC-only in its 2022 early-access announcement.
Which platforms have Workshop support?
PC and Xbox players can use Workshop content, and PlayStation 5 gained in-game Workshop support with update 1.4, announced by Bohemia Interactive on May 22, 2025. The company later described modded modes, assets, and custom content as cross-platform. That does not guarantee that every mod is available or compatible on every platform: check a mod’s requirements and the game version it supports.
Workshop access is for players; mod creation is a different matter. The 2022 announcement described Workbench as PC-only while noting that mods could be published for console players to enjoy.

How to play with Workshop mods
Use mods in a solo session
- Open Workshop from the main menu and download the mod you want, along with any dependencies it requires.
- Start a solo session and access the relevant playable content through Scenarios or available Game Master assets, depending on what the mod adds.
Join a modded multiplayer server
- Open the Server Browser and select a server.
- Allow the game to download or load the mods and versions that server requires.
- Join using the server’s required mod set. You cannot omit a required mod and still join that server.
Bohemia Interactive’s June 3, 2025 mod guide explains these options. The Workshop wiki also describes sorting by popularity, subscriber count, rating, date added, or name, as well as retaining up to the last 50 versions of a mod; such implementation details can change.
Compatibility, quality, and console storage
Mods are community-created, not made by Bohemia Interactive, and do not go through the same game QA process. The company’s guide puts it plainly: “Mods are not made by Bohemia Interactive, and modders do not have the same QA team behind them as the vanilla game.” A mod may require other mods or conflict with another item, so review its listed dependencies and platform or version notes before downloading.

Console storage for mods is capped. Bohemia Interactive’s June 2025 guide and its Workshop wiki list 25 GB for PlayStation 5 and 50 GB for Xbox. These figures are platform-specific and may change; consult the current Workshop documentation for the latest limits.

Bohemia Interactive’s update 1.8 announcement, published August 13, 2026, adds Microsoft Store availability with Xbox Play Anywhere support for Xbox consoles and Windows PC. The announcement is storefront context, not evidence of a change to Workshop functionality.
