No. Creating a Ubisoft Account is free; Ubisoft’s terms describe registration details such as a valid email address but do not identify a signup fee. Ubisoft Connect is also described as a free service that requires an account. Buying a game, subscribing to Ubisoft+, or paying for internet or a third-party platform are separate costs.

Will Ubisoft charge you for Ubisoft+?
Not just for opening an account. Ubisoft+ is a separate subscription that requires an active Ubisoft Account. For subscriptions purchased from Ubisoft, the US terms say the fee is charged on the billing date shown on the account, using a valid payment method, and that the subscription renews monthly at the then-current price unless cancelled, subject to applicable law.
Free trials
A trial may require a payment method and may automatically renew into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Check the signup page for the trial’s duration and conditions; availability and terms can vary. A subscription purchased through a third party may have different billing, cancellation, and refund rules.
After cancelling
For a subscription bought from Ubisoft, cancellation leaves access in place through the current paid period. After that, subscription benefits and games are unavailable unless you own the relevant game separately.

What do you need to create or use an account?
Ubisoft’s US terms require accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information, including a valid email address. Ubisoft may verify an email or phone number, require two-factor authentication or other security measures for some features, and apply age or parental-consent requirements depending on your country. These are verification, security, or eligibility conditions—not stated account signup fees.
An account may be required for particular Ubisoft services, including some online play. You also need the hardware and internet or telecommunications access to use those services; any related provider or platform charges are separate from the Ubisoft Account.
