OneStream Live’s tax guidance therefore does not establish whether GST is charged to Indian subscribers, what rate would apply, or how it would be shown on an Indian invoice.
Do not treat the EU VAT examples as an answer for India. The available India-specific payment guidance concerns a downgrade workflow and does not resolve tax collection for a new subscription.
How to check the amount you will pay in India
- Choose the plan and billing period. Confirm the plan, currency and subscription term you intend to buy; pricing and plan details can change.
- Review the final checkout total. OneStream Live says applicable taxes may be added separately. Check whether checkout displays a tax line and the total due before confirming payment.
- Ask billing support if GST is not clear. Ask specifically whether GST will be collected for your Indian account, whether it will appear on an invoice, and what invoice details will be provided. Keep the written answer with your subscription records.
- Keep the invoice or receipt. Use the actual checkout and invoice documents to confirm what was charged rather than assuming tax is included in the advertised plan price.

OneStream Live says its free plan can be used indefinitely, subject to limits including two simultaneous destinations, a maximum resolution of 720p, 1 GB of storage, prerecorded streams up to 15 minutes and real-time streams up to one hour. These are vendor-published limits and may change; check the current plan page before relying on them.
Can you pay with UPI in India?
OneStream Live’s India-specific downgrade instructions tell an account holder to select UPI as the preferred payment method. That confirms UPI is documented for that downgrade flow only. It does not establish that UPI is available for every new subscription checkout or that it determines whether GST will be charged.
