Yes—Ash’s Pikachu is shown eating and enjoying ketchup in the Pokémon anime episode “Showdown at Dark City” (EP042). The scene is a specific portrayal of Ash’s Pikachu, not a stated preference shared by every Pikachu in every Pokémon story.
Why is Pikachu associated with ketchup?
In “Showdown at Dark City,” episode guides describe Ash’s Pikachu eating ketchup at a restaurant. During the episode’s gym-conflict events, the bottle breaks, and Pikachu becomes upset. The reaction gives the scene its comic suggestion that Pikachu is especially fond of ketchup.
The scene is documented in the Bulbapedia episode guide and Serebii’s episode guide. Neither guide establishes a broader explanation for the preference.
Does every Pikachu like ketchup?
That conclusion does not follow from this scene. It shows Ash’s Pikachu in one anime episode; it does not establish a ketchup preference for Pikachu across the games, other anime stories, or the franchise as a whole.

Was there a ketchup-themed Pikachu plush?
Yes, historically. A June 3, 2015 Crunchyroll News report described a Kagome promotional campaign featuring Pokémon prizes, including ketchup-themed Pikachu plush toys. That report documents a past promotion, not current stock or present-day availability.
