How an Xbox gift card can pay for a Roblox purchase
Redeem the Xbox gift card to the Microsoft account you use on Xbox. Microsoft says the funds can be used for games and in-app purchases. Roblox lists in-app purchases through its Xbox app as a payment route, so Microsoft balance may work when you buy through that app and it is offered at checkout. - Redeem the Xbox gift card to the Microsoft account used on your Xbox.
- Open the Roblox Xbox app and select the Roblox purchase you want.
- At checkout, check whether Microsoft account balance is offered and covers the full purchase. Roblox says each purchase must be paid in full with one payment method; if the balance option is unavailable or insufficient, choose another listed payment method or do not proceed.
Because Roblox’s published payment page does not name Xbox gift cards specifically, the balance option’s availability should be confirmed at checkout rather than assumed.

Where to redeem a Roblox gift card
Use a web browser and go to Roblox.com/redeem. Roblox says gift-card redemption is not available in the standard mobile app or on consoles, so a Roblox card cannot be redeemed directly on Xbox. Roblox states that codes are redeemable worldwide, with value converted to the account’s local currency; that does not establish equivalent regional treatment for Microsoft or Xbox gift cards. - For Roblox specifically: Choose a Roblox gift card and redeem it in a browser. Its redemption and value are covered by Roblox’s gift-card instructions and terms.
