Not all content is confirmed. Nintendo’s listing for Stellar Blade Complete Edition on Switch 2 explicitly includes content from the NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLCs, but it does not mention Boss Challenge. So those two crossover DLCs are confirmed; Boss Challenge and the inclusion of every other past update remain unverified by the official listings reviewed.
Which DLC does the Switch 2 edition include?
Nintendo UK’s product listing names content from both the Stellar Blade x NieR:Automata and Stellar Blade x GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLCs. These are the crossover add-ons Nintendo explicitly confirms for the Switch 2 edition.

Nintendo also notes that some included content becomes available only after progressing through the main story. The listing does not give an exhaustive inventory of all previous updates or DLC, so the label “Complete Edition” by itself is not proof that every past item is included.
Is Boss Challenge included?
The official Switch 2 listing does not name Boss Challenge, so its inclusion is not confirmed by the available product description. That omission does not prove the mode is excluded; it means buyers should not treat it as a guaranteed feature based on the listing alone.

Shift Up Director Kim Hyung Tae described Boss Challenge in a May 23, 2024 PlayStation Blog announcement for the original game: “The Boss Challenge pits you against the 19 bosses from the base game.” The mode requires battle data for bosses already defeated, and Hard difficulty unlocks after seeing the ending. Completing all Boss Challenge bosses on Normal difficulty or higher earns Eve’s Neurolink Suit. Those details establish what the original-game mode does, not whether it is included in the Switch 2 edition.
When is the Switch 2 edition scheduled to release?
SHIFT UP’s official Switch 2 edition page announces Stellar Blade Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 and gives November 5 as its availability date. Nintendo UK lists the release date as 5 November 2026. As of October 7, 2026, that date is still in the future; check Nintendo’s live listing for any change before treating the game as released or available.

What should buyers take from the listing?
- Confirmed: content from the NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLCs.
- Not confirmed: Boss Challenge and a complete inventory of every prior update or add-on.
- Unlock timing: some included content requires progress through the main story.
If Boss Challenge is essential to your purchase, look for an official package description that names it before buying. The current Nintendo listing does not establish Switch 2 feature parity with other platform editions or confirm that all updates are bundled.
