Yes, the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro is compatible with PS5, but it cannot reproduce adaptive-trigger effects. Its trigger blockers adjust how far the triggers travel; they do not create game-controlled resistance. Nacon also says the controller has no haptic feedback, and that its vibration works only with PC and PS4 games.
What happens in a PS5 game that uses adaptive triggers?
You can use the Revolution 5 Pro with PS5, but you will not feel the adaptive resistance that a compatible game can apply to a DualSense controller. That distinction matters: compatibility means the controller works with the platform, not that it offers every feature of Sony’s controller. Nacon lists the Revolution 5 Pro as compatible with PS5, PS4, and PC, and confirms in its support FAQ that it does not have adaptive triggers.
Are the trigger blockers the same as adaptive triggers?
No. Nacon’s product page describes trigger blockers as a way to customize trigger travel. They make a fixed physical adjustment to how far the trigger moves. Adaptive triggers, by contrast, can vary resistance in response to a game. A shorter trigger pull may suit a player’s preference, but it does not reproduce a game’s changing resistance effects.
What feedback does the Revolution 5 Pro provide on PS5?
Nacon says the controller has no haptic feedback and that its vibration works only with PC and PS4 games. So on PS5, do not expect the adaptive-trigger or haptic effects associated with the DualSense. This limitation does not mean PS5 games are generally incompatible with the Revolution 5 Pro; it concerns these controller feedback features.

Which controller should you use for adaptive-trigger effects?
If adaptive triggers are a priority, the DualSense is the feature-based alternative: Sony lists adaptive triggers and haptic feedback among its features on the DualSense product page. Whether a particular effect appears depends on the game, so check the game’s feature support as well as the controller you use.
