What is Don’t Stop, Girlypop!?
Developed by Funny Fintan Softworks and published by Kwalee, Don’t Stop, Girlypop! is described by its creators as a “Y2K arena movement shooter.” Steam lists it as a released, single-player Windows game and offers a demo. It was previously presented as Incolatus; the current Steam listing and official site use the Don’t Stop, Girlypop! name. Steam’s community tags include FPS, fast-paced, boomer shooter, arena shooter, character customization, and LGBTQ+. These are user-defined tags, not a formal genre list from the developer.
How does wave hopping work?
Wave hopping is the game’s movement-focused approach to arena combat. You chain bunny-hop-style movement with ground slams, dashes, and double jumps rather than staying planted to fire. Guns have alternate firing modes, and the game encourages players to build high “Love” scores while moving through fights. The official description also says movement speed affects combat: as you move faster, you deal more damage and heal more.

That speed-to-damage-and-healing link was described by game director Jane Fiona in remarks from the Day of the Devs showcase, as reported by Engadget in December 2024: “The faster you go, the more damage you deal and the more you heal.” This is a description of the intended mechanic, not a separately measured performance result. What are The Love and Tigris Nix?
The conflict is fictional. In the game’s story, the mining corporation Tigris Nix drains The Love, a natural force that sustains the planet. Fighting robotic enemies releases Love back into the environment and helps heal the Oasis. The game also lets players decorate guns with fabrics and ornaments, including butterflies and pink chrome styling. The official description presents these elements as part of the game’s setting and customization.
Is Don’t Stop, Girlypop! on Steam, and what PC does it need?
Yes. Steam lists the game for Windows 11, with a 6 GB storage requirement and 16 GB of RAM in both configurations. The minimum and recommended processor and graphics requirements differ:
