They are physical merchandise, so you’ll need to buy the game separately for a compatible platform: PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S.
What comes in each Dragon Age: The Veilguard bundle?
EA/BioWare’s 15 August 2024 announcement describes the collectibles and explicitly says the bundles do not include the game.
| Product | Physical contents announced | Game included? |
|---|---|---|
| Rook’s Coffer | Lyrium Dagger, Thedas Map with Quiver Tube, Rook’s Deck, Potion Flask, and Enchanted Die | No. EA/BioWare labels it “Does NOT include Game.” |
| Vyrantium Pack by Scanavo | Exclusive SteelBook case, ICONART metal print and magnet wall mount, notebook, and rigid outer box | No. The pack is labeled “Does NOT include Game,” and its SteelBook is labeled “No Game.” |
| The Art of Dragon Age: The Veilguard by Dark Horse | 256-page art book; standard, deluxe, and BioWare Gear editions have different extras | No. The announcement says the book does not include the game. |
Although players may describe these as collector’s editions, EA’s announcement names the physical products Rook’s Coffer and Vyrantium Pack. Neither is a game edition or a game license.
Does Rook’s Coffer come with the game?
No. Rook’s Coffer is a set of physical collectibles, and EA/BioWare’s announcement explicitly states that it does not include the game. Buying the Coffer does not grant a game license or include a game disc.
