The feature makes it possible to keep a mastered vocation paired with a new one while training, though no particular pairing is established as optimal.
How to train vocations without losing useful skills
- Keep a mastered vocation assigned while developing another. Xbox Wire warns that skills from a maxed vocation are removed when a character switches away. Moonlighting provides a way to retain access to an established vocation while progressing a second.
- Increase proficiency earned in the game settings if you want to speed vocation development. Xbox Wire identifies this setting as a way to level vocations faster.
- Use a Seed of Proficiency to raise the current vocation level by one.
- Consider party role coverage when choosing combinations: balance attack, healing, and support, while favoring prerequisite vocations that also move a desired unlock forward. Exact best combinations and time savings are not established.
