Dreamseeker’s Herrscher of Time is reported as an upcoming playable Battlesuit for Honkai Impact 3rd version 9.1, rather than a confirmed character already available in-game. A report published October 6, 2026, puts its expected arrival toward the end of October and says it will be featured in Battlesuit and equipment supply banners. The exact release date and the story’s explanation for Dreamseeker’s transformation have not been confirmed in the sources available.
What has been announced about Dreamseeker as Herrscher of Time?
Siliconera reported on October 6, 2026, that HoYoverse had confirmed the name “Herrscher of Time” with a teaser and that the Battlesuit is planned for version 9.1. The report describes it as Dreamseeker’s first proper playable Battlesuit debut, following the character’s earlier appearance as an AstralOp support unit. Siliconera’s report is the available source for those version 9.1 details.
Dreamseeker is a customizable male-or-female avatar who represents the player in Part 2, according to that report. The new form therefore marks a change in how the character is presented: from a player-avatar figure previously seen supporting the team as an AstralOp to a reported playable Battlesuit.
How does the transformation fit the Part 2 story?
The immediate story context is The Future We Embrace, the Part 2 finale chapter introduced in HoYoverse’s version 9.0 announcement, “The Light at Dream’s End,” dated August 20, 2026. The announcement frames the finale with the question, “If surprises await at every turn, then what dream is left for Dreamseeker to seek?” It establishes the chapter’s focus on Dreamseeker, but does not explain the specific event or lore mechanism that turns the character into the Herrscher of Time. Read HoYoverse’s v9.0 announcement.
Version 9.0 ran from August 20 through October 22, 2026, according to that official announcement. It included the Part 2 finale chapter alongside a new AstralOp and events. The Herrscher of Time Battlesuit was not announced in the v9.0 material reviewed; its reported connection is to version 9.1.

When will the Battlesuit be available, and how is it obtained?
The October 6 report expected the Battlesuit toward the end of October 2026, as part of version 9.1. That is a reported schedule expectation, not a confirmed exact release date or proof that the Battlesuit is already available. Siliconera also says the Battlesuit and its equipment would need to be pulled for through supply banners; it does not give confirmed banner dates or detailed banner rules.
