Yes. Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s Tower Raid is a permanent standalone mode, released on 19 February 2025. To start, choose Raid Hub from the main menu. You can raid alone or with a co-op squad of up to four players.
How to access Tower Raid
Launch Dying Light 2: Stay Human and select Raid Hub from the main menu. The mode was initially announced as a permanent release in February 2025; Techland’s subsequent October 2025 update notes also describe continued permanent access.
Techland first introduced Tower Raid as a time-limited open beta in June 2024. That beta was scheduled to end on 18 July 2024, so its temporary availability should not be confused with the permanent standalone mode that followed.
Choose a run length and difficulty
Tower Raid offers three run types. Quick and Normal let you select a difficulty; Elite has a fixed structure and difficulty range.

Play solo or choose a class for co-op
You can enter Tower Raid solo or team up with as many as three other players. The mode offers four classes:

Pick a class that suits how you want to contribute to the squad. Techland’s release announcement names the available classes but does not detail their individual abilities.
How progression and rewards work
Runs use changing combinations of floors and challenges. You gain skills during a raid, and the mode is designed to make you more powerful after a failed attempt, encouraging repeat runs rather than treating one defeat as the end of progression.

The Raid Hub also connects the mode to two characters and their systems. Jai provides persistent Reputation progression and an inventory, while Sola offers assignments that can reward items transferable to the base game. Techland’s October 2025 Update 1.25 notes describe further additions: the CyberRaider, new floor layouts, rebalanced modifiers, and an expanded reward track.

The June 2024 beta was explicitly temporary. It featured changing floor combinations, obstacles, goals, and run modifiers, and Techland planned to remove it after three weeks while reviewing player feedback. The permanent standalone release arrived on 19 February 2025, with access through the main-menu Raid Hub.
Techland’s official [release announcement] confirms the permanent mode and its features; its [Update 1.21 notes] detail the run structures and Raid Hub systems. The later [Update 1.25 notes] document continued access and subsequent additions. The [June 2024 beta announcement] describes the original limited-time test.
The official material establishes permanent availability through the October 2025 update. It does not establish the current status of every platform’s online or co-op services in October 2026, so check Techland’s current support or patch information if you need confirmation for a particular platform.
