Dying Light: The Beast already has New Game+. Techland’s Update 1.4 added the mode in late November 2025, so it is no longer an upcoming feature. It lets you replay Kyle’s story with your gear, weapons and character progression intact, while raising enemy difficulty and opening access to stronger loot.

What New Game+ carries over—and what changes

Techland Support says New Game+ lets you replay Kyle’s story while keeping “all gear, weapons and character progression” from your first playthrough. That description does not establish that quest states, collectibles or every other form of progress carries over.

The next run is tougher: enemies become more difficult, and higher-tier weapons and loot become available. You can complete New Game+ more than once; each completed run further increases the challenge and unlocks stronger, rarer weapons and the toughest enemies in Castor Woods. In practical terms, the mode preserves your build while giving you a reason to keep advancing it. Techland Support: NEW GAME+ Mode (modified 27 November 2025).

What Update 1.4 added

New Game+ was part of a broader update. Techland’s 1 December 2025 announcement described Update 1.4 as having been available for a few days and called it the biggest and most impactful update the game had seen at that point. The developer listed these additions and changes:
