Dying Light: The Beast launched globally on September 18, 2025, after Techland moved the date forward from September 19. The unlock began at 9:00 a.m. PDT; some Asia-Pacific regions reached September 19 by local time. The schedule below is historical—the game is already out.
When did Dying Light: The Beast release?
The game released on September 18, 2025. Techland announced the date change on September 12, moving the launch forward by one day. Its announcement said more than 1 million players had already secured a copy ahead of launch; that figure was Techland’s own statement, not an independently audited sales result. Techland’s release announcement and the official game page and FAQ confirm the release date.
What time did it unlock in each region?
The launch was scheduled as a global unlock. The table lists local dates and times reported from Techland’s published schedule. Because the detailed graphic is available here through a contemporaneous report rather than a directly retrievable official table, the times are attributed to Windows Central’s report of Techland’s schedule.

The schedule used CST for both Mexico City and China, so the city labels matter: the abbreviation alone does not identify which time zone is meant. The Americas and Europe unlocked on September 18; several Asia-Pacific locations did so just after midnight on September 19.
