Where can you play Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered?
KOEI TECMO Europe announced the game’s release on October 1, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam. The US product page lists the same platforms. The final lineup does not include the original Nintendo Switch; an earlier announcement had listed it, but that schedule and platform list were superseded. The game is a rebuilt version of the PS2-era action title, using Unreal Engine 5, with modernized presentation and selectable changes to combat. The publisher describes the original as the first entry in the series to feature mechanics including True Musou Attacks, simultaneous two-player play and officer development, and says it was the first Dynasty Warriors game to sell more than one million copies. That is a historical publisher claim; its page does not give a sales date or cutoff. KOEI TECMO America.
What does Complete Edition include?
The package includes the original Dynasty Warriors 3 and all content from Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends. The remaster brings back more than 40 officers and adds Ziluan, the protagonist of Dynasty Warriors: Origins. KOEI TECMO Europe.

How do the remaster’s new combat options work?
- Evasion: Dodge attacks or briefly withdraw; a perfectly timed evasion opens a counterattack.
- Perfect Power Guard: Time a guard precisely to create a counter opportunity.
- Weapon Fusion: Consume unwanted weapons to transfer elemental attributes and skills.
- New scenarios: Additional unlockable scenarios expand the campaign content.
You can toggle new features individually, or choose an overall preset. Classic Settings aim for a feel closer to the original; Normal Settings use the remaster’s recommended setup and new systems. That makes it possible to keep the parts of the update you want without treating the classic-style option as a separate game mode. KOEI TECMO Europe.
Does it have two-player or online co-op?
Two players can play offline in split-screen across Musou, Free and VS modes. Online two-player co-op is planned for a post-launch update, not confirmed as a launch feature. Is there a demo?

Which edition should you buy?
Nintendo’s US store lists a digital standard edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition and a separate Deluxe Edition Upgrade for Switch 2. The Deluxe package includes the main game plus 42 retro costumes, a Wind Scroll and Tiger Amulet, Six Secret Teachings, 42 weapons usable for fusion, and an Officer Concept Art Collection viewable in-game. If you already own the standard game, check that you are selecting the upgrade rather than buying a second copy of the game bundled with Deluxe extras.
