Those figures make it a natural choice if you want to balance immediate results with giving younger players room to grow. 3. Exeter City: an academy-first save
Exeter City has a snapshot youth-development score of 10, making it a strong choice for a save built around scouting and promoting academy players. EA’s general Career Mode advice is to scout youth and give academy graduates playing time. The appeal here is the development challenge, not any particular player-potential claim.

4. Crewe Alexandra: long-term development in League Two
Crewe’s snapshot lists a youth-development score of 10 and an average age of 22. That combination suits a longer squad-building project: bring in young prospects, develop them and work toward climbing the divisions. The figures do not identify specific players or guarantee their growth.
5. Wrexham: a lower-league climb
Wrexham appears in the FC 24 League Two snapshot, and its appeal as a road-to-glory save is easy to understand: you can build the club’s climb in-game over multiple seasons. Treat it as a narrative choice rather than a claim about the club’s real-world finances or present-day division.
