EA’s stated unlock times were midnight local time on consoles and 5 AM BST on PC. These are FC 25 launch dates, not upcoming release times for a current EA SPORTS FC game.
EA SPORTS FC 25 release times by edition and access route
EA’s 16 September 2024 launch update gave separate schedules for console and PC. “Midnight local time” is EA’s wording for consoles; the PC time was stated as 5 AM BST.

What “worldwide launch” meant
EA called 27 September 2024 the worldwide launch and Standard Edition release. That label does not mean every platform unlocked at the same clock time: EA specified midnight local time for consoles and 5 AM BST for PC. The 27 September announcement confirmed that the game was available worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
How to interpret the times for your location
EA’s official launch pages give the console rule as midnight local time and the PC rule as 5 AM BST; they do not provide a complete country-by-country or storefront-by-storefront unlock table. The PC time is explicitly in British Summer Time. Without a location and the relevant date context, it should not be converted into a claimed local unlock time.

Which access route applied
- Ultimate Edition: EA identified this as the route for early access starting 20 September 2024.
- Standard Edition: Access began on 27 September 2024, the worldwide launch date EA announced.
- EA Play: EA described an eligible trial of up to 10 hours, beginning 20 September 2024.
- EA Play Pro: EA described unlimited access beginning 20 September 2024 for PC only.
