How to recruit Mellore
- Find Mellore in Eltisweiss. Trigger her event on the city’s central street.
- Go to Redthroat Ridge. Follow the recruitment event there.
- Complete the encounter. Defeat the Nerthus during the encounter to recruit Mellore.
How to recruit Kuroto
- Speak to Kuroto in the southwest area of Altverden Village to start his request.
- Defeat three Wild Boars at Redthroat Ridge.
- Return to Kuroto in Altverden Village to complete the request.
The Eiyuden Chronicle Wiki’s recruitment guide describes the three-boar requirement as the updated count on April 20, 2024; older guides may still say five. The same guide says Wild Boars defeated before speaking to Kuroto count toward the task. See the recruitment guide and its patch notes for that dated update.
How to recruit Yume
- Recruit Mellore first. Yume’s recruitment depends on having Mellore.
- Visit Werne Village and speak with Yume’s grandmother near the entrance.
- Search Redthroat Ridge for Yume and recruit her.
The conversation with her grandmother is the lead to finding Yume, so make that stop before searching the ridge. The recruitment guide lists this sequence.
