To secure Igon’s summon for the boss fight, speak with him again after the Jagged Peak Drake encounters and take his Furled Finger. The Dragon Communion Priestess stop is optional.
Where to start Igon’s quest
Find Igon beside the road near Pillar Path Waypoint in Gravesite Plain, on the route toward Dragon’s Pit. Speak with him until he has nothing more to say. This first meeting starts the route, but does not yet give you the item needed to summon him.

How to reach Jagged Peak
Enter Dragon’s Pit and complete the dungeon, passing the Ancient Dragon-Man encounter. The route includes a long drop; continue through the dungeon rather than treating it as a dead end. You emerge in Jagged Peak.

Is the Dragon Communion Priestess required?
No. The Priestess at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion is optional for Igon’s progression. If you choose “Devour draconic essence,” she gives you Ancient Dragon’s Blessing, a single-use damage-negation consumable. It can help with preparation, but it is not a quest trigger you need in order to get Igon’s Furled Finger or reach Bayle.

How to get Igon’s Furled Finger
- Continue up Jagged Peak and defeat the Jagged Peak Drake.
- Proceed to the encounter with two Jagged Peak Drakes.
- After that encounter, find Igon and speak with him until his dialogue is exhausted. He gives you Igon’s Furled Finger and asks you to summon him against Bayle.
If you reach Bayle without the Furled Finger, return to this post-Drake meeting and finish Igon’s dialogue. His Bayle summon sign appears at the boss encounter after he has given you the item.
How to summon Igon for Bayle
Keep climbing Jagged Peak to reach Bayle the Dread. At the boss encounter, look for Igon’s summon sign and use it to bring him into the fight. His dialogue presents the confrontation as a personal reckoning with Bayle; a community transcript records his challenge and battle lines at Igon’s dialogue page.

What rewards does Igon’s quest give?
After defeating Bayle, return to the place where Igon gave you the Furled Finger and collect Igon’s equipment and Bell Bearing. Also return to the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion to collect the Priestess’s listed rewards.
