Epic’s September 2025 mobile giveaways ran across four weekly claim windows. The schedule included Monument Valley, Monument Valley 2, The Battle of Polytopia, Samorost 2, Road Redemption Mobile and, in an offer that continued into October, Eastern Exorcist. Android access was described as worldwide, subject to regional exceptions; iPhone and iPad access was limited to the European Union.

| The Battle of Polytopia | September 11–18, 2025 | Worldwide, subject to regional exceptions | European Union | Turn-based 4X strategy game |
| Samorost 2 | September 18–25, 2025 | Worldwide, subject to regional exceptions | European Union | Point-and-click adventure |

The first three rotations are supported by Epic announcements and contemporary coverage. The final listing, Eastern Exorcist, is less firmly documented: contemporary community tracking lists it for the September 25–October 2 window, but that alone does not establish availability in every region or on every platform. The offers have ended; they cannot now be claimed as September giveaways.
What was offered each week?
September 4–11: Monument Valley
Monument Valley was the first September mobile giveaway. The premium puzzle game asks players to manipulate architectural structures and optical illusions to guide a character through impossible geometry. It is distinct from Monument Valley 2, which was offered the following week. Contemporary coverage also reported that The Battle of Polytopia had been expected earlier but was delayed. Notebookcheck’s September 2025 report documented the opening offer and schedule change.
September 11–18: Monument Valley 2 and The Battle of Polytopia
Epic’s announcement confirmed both games in the same mobile rotation. Monument Valley 2 is a surreal, perspective-led puzzle adventure following a mother and child. The Battle of Polytopia is a turn-based strategy game built around exploration, expansion, research and faction-based play. The Battle of Polytopia’s move to this window is why lists based on early schedules may show a different first-week lineup. Epic’s announcement gave the September 11–18 dates and described mobile availability on Android worldwide and iOS in the EU, with regional exceptions possible.

The Epic promotion should not automatically be assumed to match every detail of the game’s ordinary free-to-play mobile edition. Check the Epic listing for the included tribes or other content rather than relying on descriptions of the standard store version.
September 18–25: Samorost 2 and Road Redemption Mobile
This rotation paired two different mobile games. Samorost 2 is Amanita Design’s hand-crafted point-and-click adventure about a space gnome searching for his kidnapped dog. Road Redemption Mobile is the motorcycle combat-racing mobile product—not simply the similarly named PC game. Contemporary coverage described the giveaway as unlocking its premium mobile content rather than supplying only a limited trial. Epic’s announcement covered the mobile offer and a PC promotion; a mobile claim should not be taken as evidence of a PC entitlement.

September 25–October 2: Eastern Exorcist
Contemporary community tracking listed Eastern Exorcist as the mobile offer beginning September 25 and running through October 2, so its claim window crossed into the next month. The archived list is not equivalent to an Epic announcement confirming all platforms and regions. Check the Epic mobile listing for the relevant territory before relying on availability. The contemporary community archive is the source for this reported rotation.
Where the mobile offers were available
For the September promotions, Epic’s announcements described Android availability as worldwide and iOS availability as limited to the European Union; they also allowed for regional exceptions. That means “Android and iOS” does not mean every iPhone or iPad user could claim the games. In particular, a U.S. iPhone or iPad user should not expect access through Epic’s mobile store for these offers. Availability could also vary by title or region, so the product listing is the practical check.

Epic’s Free Games page describes the mobile giveaway program as available globally on Android and on iPhone and iPad in supported regions, through the Epic Games Store mobile app. These limited-time promotions are separate from permanently free-to-play games such as Fortnite or Rocket League. Likewise, Epic’s September PC giveaways were separate offers: Ghostrunner 2, for example, appeared in PC promotion coverage, not in the September mobile list.
How Epic mobile giveaways worked
Epic’s support guidance says weekly free games normally rotate on Thursdays at 8 a.m. Pacific Time and generally remain claimable for seven days. A storefront update can appear later, so the listed date range is more useful than assuming every mobile app refreshes at the exact changeover minute. Epic also says an Epic account with two-factor authentication enabled is required to claim the weekly free game. Epic Player Support explains the rotation, account requirement and library retention.

- Compatible with Android devices and fits mobile devices ranging from 100mm to 170mm in length.
- Hall Effect Joysticks and Triggers
- Refined bumpers and D-pad. Light and tactile.
- 2 Pro back paddle buttons
- Profile button. Wear-resistant metal joystick rings. Turbo function.
- Install or open the Epic Games Store mobile app where it is supported.
- Sign in to your Epic account and enable two-factor authentication if it is not already active.
- Open the Free Games area or the featured giveaway in the app.
- Select the mobile listing and complete the free claim or checkout action before the offer ends.
- Check that the game appears in your Epic library; install it now or later, subject to device, region and storefront support.
Claiming and downloading are different actions. Epic’s policy is that a game successfully claimed during its offer remains in the player’s library afterward, so the download itself did not need to finish before the deadline. Library retention does not guarantee the app or service will remain available forever on every device, and it does not override platform or regional compatibility.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Mobile claims and PC games are separate
A game name appearing in the same weekly Epic promotion does not establish that it was offered on every platform. These September entries concern mobile products or mobile entitlements. In particular, Road Redemption Mobile is the mobile edition, while a mobile claim should not be assumed to grant a PC license. Confirm the platform shown on the listing before claiming; the available evidence does not establish that a September mobile claim also supplied a PC version.
