The December 20, 2024 Epic Games Store leak named Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles. At the time, the prediction was still awaiting official confirmation; a later giveaway history confirms that Astrea was offered from December 20 to December 21, 2024. The giveaway has ended.
What was the Epic Games free game on December 20, 2024?
It was Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles, a single-player strategy game. Notebookcheck reported the leak on December 20, 2024, attributing the prediction to Reddit user u/MeguminShiro. The report described it as an unconfirmed leak, not an Epic Games announcement. Notebookcheck’s report said the account’s previous predictions were part of its reason for treating the claim as credible; that is the publication’s assessment, not proof of a broader accuracy rate.

How it fit into the 2024 Holiday Sale
Epic Games’ December 12, 2024 Holiday Sale guide described the promotion as running from December 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. ET / 4 p.m. GMT / 5 p.m. CET through January 9, 2025, at the same listed times. Epic said it would reveal 16 free games over the sale. In the guide, Epic wrote, “We’re once again piling up presents with 16 free games that will be revealed over the duration of the sale.”

- The disciples of the stars disappear in chaos and their creations were scattered in a world of vast devastation. At some time, you never know there is a person who manipulates the power of stars
- Then, after far, the descendants of the Six-Sided Oracal will come up to save the stars in your hometown
The guide also said Epic Rewards were boosted to 10% until January 9, 2025. Those dates and terms refer to the completed 2024–25 promotion, not a current offer; the sale-wide schedule does not establish Astrea’s individual giveaway cutoff.
