The label can mean an offer is genuinely depleted, but Battlestate Games has also documented a past bug that left purchased offers incorrectly marked “Out of Stock.” These checks may help identify a stale or mismatched view; they are not a guaranteed fix for the current game build.
Why does the Flea Market say “Out of Stock”?
There are two plausible explanations: the offer really has no stock left, or the market is displaying outdated or incorrect information. Battlestate Games’ official Escape from Tarkov channel once announced a fix for “the incorrect display of red ‘Out of Stock’ offers that remained on the Flea Market even after they were purchased.” That confirms this kind of display bug has happened before, but does not establish that it is the cause of a current report or that the old fix applies to the current build. A Steam Community support forum index accessed October 8, 2026, also showed a pinned discussion titled Error 1507, “Offer was sold or out of stock.” The title confirms that players encounter the wording, but the index does not diagnose this particular Flea Market symptom or establish a remedy. What to check first
- Confirm the item and offer type. Make sure you selected the intended item or variant. Check whether the results are for rouble offers or barter offers, then switch modes and search again. A May 15, 2026 secondary troubleshooting guide recommends this as a diagnostic check; it is not an official current fix. GameLeap’s troubleshooting guide
- Reset the search view. Clear restrictive filters, search again, and close and reopen the Flea Market if the results still look stale. These are low-risk checks recommended by the same guide, not a guarantee that the display will refresh correctly. GameLeap’s troubleshooting guide
- Use the quantity filter only to hide empty results. Older community posts suggest setting the minimum quantity to one so offers with no stock are filtered out. This may make search results less cluttered, but it does not repair an incorrect listing or release a slot occupied by your own stuck offer. The advice is anecdotal, not a confirmed current-build workaround. Steam Community support forum
- Restart and test again. If the market still appears inconsistent, restart the game and check again. This is a reversible diagnostic step recommended by the secondary guide, not a verified remedy. GameLeap’s troubleshooting guide
Identify which kind of “Out of Stock” problem you have
Search results show empty offers
Offers that have sold out may remain visible, or the display may be incorrect. A minimum quantity of one may hide zero-stock results, according to older player reports, but it will not fix a stale listing. If another offer mode shows stock, that is useful diagnostic information; it does not by itself explain why the first view showed none.

Your own sold offer remains red or occupies a slot
This resembles older community reports about stuck listings, and it falls within the type of display error Battlestate Games has acknowledged historically. The available evidence does not establish a reliable current-build method—such as canceling the offer or waiting a set time—to make the listing disappear or free a slot.

What to send with a bug report
If the mismatch persists after reopening the market and restarting, report it with enough detail to distinguish a search-filter issue from a stuck listing. Include:
- The exact item or variant and whether you were viewing rouble or barter offers.
- Your filter values, including any minimum-quantity setting.
- Whether the problem affects one item, multiple items, or your own offer listing.
- The time you observed it and a screenshot showing the offer and interface; include the full error if one appeared.
Do not assume that waiting a particular number of minutes, clearing cache, disabling overlays, or verifying game files will resolve this symptom. The cited contemporary guide mentions some of those possibilities, but they are not independently confirmed as current fixes.
