Both campaigns have ended. The announcement outlined Common, Rare, and Epic reward containers for viewers, plus three account rewards for players who purchased five qualifying subscriptions.
What the KORD BREACH Twitch Drops campaign offered
The campaign celebrated the launch of KORD BREACH, Escape from Tarkov’s first season under its new Seasons system. The August 4, 2026 announcement opened with: “It’s time to choose your modifiers and prepare to escape anew – Kord Breach season has begun!” The announcement was attributed to Escape from Tarkov, not to a named individual. Battlestate Games’ announcement followed Patch 1.1.0.0, which introduced the Seasons system. The patch notes described seasonal characters as separate from PvP Zone and PvE Zone characters, with progression automatically resetting every four to six months alongside a major content update and new season.
Campaign dates and the two ways to participate
There were two separate offers, with different dates and requirements. Neither offer is still available.
| Offer | Dates announced | What participants did | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Global Twitch Drops | August 5–17, 2026; began and ended at 2:00 PM BST / 9:00 AM EDT | Watch streams in the Escape from Tarkov category on Twitch | In-game reward containers listed in Common, Rare, and Epic tiers |
| Subscription rewards | August 5–8, 2026 | Purchase five qualifying paid subscriptions to a streamer live in the Escape from Tarkov category when each subscription was made | Hot Rod beverage cooler bag, Loui Peeton deluxe wallet, and Twitch rare dogtag case |
The dates, participation rules, and named items come from the campaign announcement. The reward names refer to in-game items; they do not mean the campaign included physical bags, wallets, or cases.

How the global viewing Drops worked
To qualify for the viewing campaign, a player needed a Twitch account, an active copy of Escape from Tarkov, and a linked Twitch account and game profile. They then watched streams in the Escape from Tarkov Twitch category during the campaign window to earn reward containers. The announcement named three container rarity tiers: Common, Rare, and Epic.
Which game modes could receive the containers?
The original announcement said the containers were available only to a player’s seasonal character. During the campaign, the official Escape from Tarkov channel later updated that guidance, saying containers were available in Seasonal, PvP, and PvE modes. The developer’s Twitch channel is the source for that later update. The initial seasonal-only restriction was therefore superseded while the campaign was running.

How many Drops could viewers earn?
The official announcement named the three rarity tiers but did not publish a complete reward schedule or state a total number of individual Drops. A community post asked, “How many twitch drops do we get?”, but it does not establish the campaign’s rules or a total. The Reddit post is only an example of that question, not an official answer.
How the separate subscription rewards worked
The shorter offer required purchasing five paid subscriptions—regular or gifted—to a streamer who was live in the Escape from Tarkov category at the time of purchase. Subscription renewals counted, and the purchaser received the rewards for gifted subscriptions. The announcement said the three rewards unlocked after the five-subscription threshold and were available once per Twitch and Battlestate Games account.

Free subscriptions did not count, including Amazon Prime subscriptions and subscriptions made with Bits. The announcement described these account rewards as permanent and available in PvE, PvP, and Season modes—unlike the initial seasonal-only rule for viewing containers. These conditions applied to the August 5–8 offer only. The original announcement lists the subscription rules and reward names.

No. As of October 8, 2026, both the August 5–17 viewing campaign and the August 5–8 subscription offer have ended. The dates above describe the historical campaign, not a current opportunity to earn its rewards.
