Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has two endings in Canon of Vengeance: a Law route associated with Tao Isonokami and a Chaos route associated with Yoko Hiromine. The game has six endings across both story paths according to PowerPyx—four in Canon of Creation and these two in Canon of Vengeance—so the six-ending count does not apply to Vengeance alone.
How many endings does Canon of Vengeance have?
There are two: Law and Chaos. SEGA describes Canon of Vengeance as a separate story that diverges from Canon of Creation and reaches a different ending. How do I unlock Canon of Vengeance?
At the opening choice, take the girl’s hand to enter Canon of Vengeance. Declining starts Canon of Creation instead. The route selection is described in the SAMURAI GAMERS route guide. SEGA likewise distinguishes the new Vengeance storyline from the original story path.

How do I get the Law or Chaos ending?
Once on Canon of Vengeance, the ending is alignment-dependent. Secondary guides recommend choosing the top story dialogue option when steering toward Law and the bottom option when steering toward Chaos. This is practical guide advice, not an official explanation of how the game scores alignment.
Law ending: Tao Isonokami
Favor choices that support order, righteousness, and selflessness. SAMURAI GAMERS associates the Law route with Tao and describes its goal as creating a world where all wishes are fulfilled.

Chaos ending: Yoko Hiromine
Favor choices that support free will and self-preservation. SAMURAI GAMERS associates the Chaos route with Yoko and describes its outcome as returning everything to Chaos for a new beginning.
Not every dialogue choice necessarily changes alignment: GameFAQs’ alignment discussion notes that some decisions are trivial while others affect the route. If you are deliberately pursuing one ending, follow the top-for-Law or bottom-for-Chaos guidance consistently rather than assuming every line is decisive.

No. This guide covers only Canon of Vengeance. PowerPyx counts six endings across the full game: two in Canon of Vengeance and four in Canon of Creation. The two canons are distinct story paths; the official PlayStation product page also describes the game as containing both complete paths: PlayStation’s Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance page.
