Seven English-language Pokémon TCG expansions were listed for release in 2025, across six dates. The schedule ran from Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions on January 17 to Mega Evolution—Phantasmal Flames on November 14. This is an expansion-date list, not a complete calendar of every product or regional launch.
Pokémon TCG expansion release dates for 2025
The dates below follow the official Pokémon Asia (Singapore) card-search release list. Pokémon Company International’s press schedule independently confirms the first five expansion names and dates through July; the Singapore list also includes the two later expansions.

Expansion dates are not always product dates
A set’s expansion date does not guarantee that every sealed product tied to it launched that day. Pokémon’s own product pages list different dates for some items, so check the specific product listing when you are looking for a particular box or bundle.

Examples of separate product dates
- Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box launch date: January 17, 2025. Its Premium Figure Collection launch date: September 26, 2025. The later collection date is a product launch, not another expansion date. See the official Prismatic Evolutions page.
- Journey Together Booster Bundle launch date: March 28, 2025. The listing says the bundle contains six booster packs. See the official Booster Bundle page.
- Black Bolt and White Flare Booster Bundles launch date: August 22, 2025, later than the expansions’ July 18 date. See the official Booster Bundles page.
Prerelease dates can come earlier
For Destined Rivals, Pokémon announced that select retailers would begin selling Build & Battle Boxes for prerelease on May 17, 2025. The expansion’s listed release date remained May 30. Prerelease availability was limited to select retailers and should not be confused with the general expansion date. Details are in Pokémon’s May 12, 2025 prerelease announcement.

The list uses English expansion names and dates from an official Singapore Pokémon card-search page, with Pokémon Company International’s press schedule as confirmation for the first four announced expansions and the July pair. It is not a universal regional schedule: release timing and product availability can differ by market, and the cited official listings do not establish dates for every individual product.
