How to unlock the Zelda catalog
- Scan a compatible Zelda amiibo: Use a The Legend of Zelda series amiibo figure with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Nintendo says scanning a Zelda series figure makes series-inspired promotional items available; the Zelda guide specifies that it unlocks the Zelda catalog.
- Open Nook Shopping: Find the Zelda items in the Promotion section.
- Place your orders: Nook Shopping orders are limited to five items per day, and ordered items arrive by mail the following day.
Nintendo’s amiibo guidance for Animal Crossing: New Horizons covers figure and card use. Check compatibility for the exact amiibo you are considering: Nintendo notes that amiibo functionality can vary, and the sources do not establish current retail prices or stock for particular figures.

Nintendo’s patch history lists Version 3.0.0 as released January 14, 2026, and Version 3.0.3 as released April 29, 2026.
