What is Evil Moon: Unspoken?
Developed by Neckbolt and published by Burning Planet Digital, Evil Moon: Unspoken is a 3D, single-player first-person action-adventure with Metroidvania exploration. Steam’s description places the game in Abbadox, a city under a lunar curse that punishes people for speaking aloud. Its protagonist, Siléncia, is a nun who has taken a vow of silence—and arms herself to fight the monsters there.
Steam tags the game as an action, adventure, and indie title, with community tags including boomer shooter, FPS, exploration, and Metroidvania. Those labels and descriptions reflect the store page, not a hands-on review.
How do exploration and combat work?
The Steam listing describes five city floors to explore in nonlinear order. Firearms include pistols, shotguns, and rocket launchers, while off-hand items and passive abilities can open routes or reveal secrets. The listed examples include a grappling hook, the ability to walk on water, and a way to see the invisible.

Steam says ammunition is endless and describes target-locking as controller-friendly. The store’s summary of the design is: “Evil Moon: Unspoken is a game where combat happens on the way to where you’re going.”
What’s reported about the Steam Next Fest demo?
In a report published October 7, 2026, ComboCaster says the free demo is due to begin October 19 during Steam Next Fest, which the report says runs through October 26. It describes the demo as covering the first segment of the game, with the boomer pistol, rosary grappling hook, and an initial cemetery boss.

The Steam store page does not confirm the festival participation or demo date, so those details remain attributed to ComboCaster rather than established by the official listing.
Release date, platforms, and store details
Steam lists the planned release year as 2027, with no exact launch date, and says the game is not yet available. The store page lists Steam Cloud and Family Sharing alongside single-player support.

The available store information does not establish hands-on impressions, performance, user-review consensus, or benchmark results. The Steam page showed no user reviews. Its listed minimum PC requirements include Windows 7 or later, but a separate Steam client note says Windows 10 and later are required for the client; the older minimum should not be read as a guarantee that the current Steam client will run on Windows 7.
