The trade-off is a potentially thin package: one Switch reviewer reported just six tracks, a roughly 25-minute run through the races, and limited options. That is one player’s experience, not a verdict on every platform—but it makes the $29.99 US storefront price harder to recommend without reservations.
What kind of racing game is it?
Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition is a licensed arcade racer published by GameMill and developed by Cradle Games. It released on October 24, 2025, with listings for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Nintendo lists a 1.6 GB digital download, TV, tabletop, and handheld play, and one-to-two players on one system. Nintendo’s listing, the US PlayStation Store listing, and the Xbox listing identify the console versions.
The official pitch is spectacle rather than simulation: licensed cars, drifting, nitro boosts, cinematic courses, branching routes, destructible scenery, shortcuts, stunts, and missions. Nintendo lists eight cars, including the Dodge Charger, Corvette Z06, Shelby GT500 KR, Ford GT, Bronco DR, and Jeep Wrangler. Its examples of bonus missions include stopping a missile in the Swiss Alps and grounding a plane in Hong Kong. Those are publisher descriptions of the game’s features, not independent assessments of how well they work.
How much is there to do?
The clearest warning about length comes from one user-authored review on r/Switch, published around the game’s release. That player reported six tracks and said they completed the races in about 25 minutes. They also described a lack of difficulty options and basic paint changes. Those figures and impressions reflect one Switch reviewer’s playthrough; they are not an audited count or a cross-platform finding. Read the user review.

- High-Speed, Adrenaline-Fueled Arcade Racing - Race across high-intensity tracks in licensed supercars with cinematic style, drifting, nitro boosts, and precision driving that captures the thrill of the original arcade classic.
- The Top Tier Arcade Racer, Brought to Console - Experience the full-throttle thrills of the arcade game at home, now optimized for consoles and with the same explosive action that made the original a fan favorite in arcades.
- Race Iconic Vehicles - Hit the road in 8 legendary cars including the Dodge Charger, Corvette Z06, Shelby GT500 KR, Ford GT, Bronco DR, Jeep Wrangler, and more.
- Customize Your Look, Your Way - Style your ride with custom vehicle color schemes that let you stand out on the track and represent your personality.
- Race Together in Local Multiplayer - Grab a friend and hit the track with 2 players in split-screen local multiplayer, bringing the arcade rivalry home with side-by-side action and nonstop competition.
That same reviewer found the steering and drifting clunky but serviceable, while describing the racing as colorful and chaotic. The contrast captures the game’s apparent appeal: quick, busy races may be entertaining in the moment, but the reported track count and short completion time leave little evidence of a substantial campaign. No professional review consensus or independently verified playthrough findings are established here, so the short-playtime concern should be treated as a caution rather than a settled platform-wide result.
Does it have split-screen or online multiplayer?
Local split-screen is an officially advertised feature. Nintendo’s publisher-provided description says, “Race solo or go head-to-head in thrilling 2-player split-screen.” Nintendo lists one-to-two players on a single system, and the PlayStation listing also gives one-to-two-player support.

- In this cooperative game based on the high-energy blockbuster series, you will play as a team in one of three scenarios, each of which offers different enemies, actions, stunts and objectives.
- Play as Dom, Brian, Letty, Roman, and the rest of Team Toretto on a harrowing high-speed heist!
- Character stats combine with vehicle stats to create unique abilities each game — try multiple combinations!
- Players jump in and out of their vehicles to accomplish missions, mirroring the exciting action of the movies.
- Three different scenarios — Semi Heist, Tank Assault, Chopper Takedown — for a three-games-in-one experience.
Online multiplayer is less certain: the Switch reviewer said there was none, but the official listings cited here establish local play rather than a definitive cross-platform online-play specification. If online races are essential, confirm the feature on the store page for the specific console before buying.
Is it worth $30?
At the time the US storefronts were accessed in 2026, PlayStation Store and Xbox each displayed a $29.99 price. PlayStation Store also showed an average player rating of 3.42 out of 5 from 125 ratings at that time; that is a changing user-rating snapshot, not a critic score or a permanent rating. At that listed price, the value depends on what you want from a racer. The cars, nitro, dramatic missions, and local head-to-head play suit someone looking for uncomplicated arcade spectacle, especially for short sessions with another player. The reported short run and limited customization make the purchase more difficult to justify for anyone seeking a long campaign, a large track selection, or deep progression. The 25-minute completion report is one player’s account, so it cannot establish how quickly every buyer will finish or whether other versions differ.
