The 2026 A Nocturne for Heroes event in Final Fantasy XIV runs from September 24 at 8:00 GMT through October 13 at 14:59 GMT. To get the four-seat Regalia Type-G mount, complete the event quests, then buy the Regalia Type-G Title for 200,000 MGP at the Gold Saucer. The price is listed by a community database, so confirm it with the vendor in game.
When does the FFXV event end?
Square Enix’s 2026 event announcement gives the window as September 24, 2026, at 8:00 GMT to October 13, 2026, at 14:59 GMT. That is 9:00 BST on September 24 to 15:59 BST on October 13, or 18:00 AEST on September 24 to 1:59 AEDT on October 14. Check the time zone you use when planning the final quests; the event is limited-time. Square Enix’s announcement says this return is identical to the previous version.
Who can take part?
Your character must meet both requirements listed on the official event site:
- Reach level 50 on a job that is not limited.
- Complete the main scenario quest “The Ultimate Weapon.”
New players need to create a character and purchase the game to participate. The event site points players to the in-game main scenario guide to find quest locations.

Where do I start the FFXV event?
Starting a new run
Speak to Kipih Jakkya at Ul’dah – Steps of Nald (X:8.5, Y:9.7).
Returning to a previous run
Open Journal → Complete → Other Quests → Special Quests and check your progress to see where to resume. Depending on your quest state, the event site directs returning players to Kipih Jakkya in Ul’dah or Noctis in New Gridania (X:11.4, Y:11.3). Use the Journal rather than relying on a remembered quest title.

How do I get the Regalia mount in FFXIV?
- Meet the level and main-scenario requirements, then progress through A Nocturne for Heroes quests.
- Go to the Gold Saucer and find the Ironworks Vendor.
- Buy the Regalia Type-G Title. A community-maintained item database lists the cost as 200,000 MGP; the 2026 Square Enix event announcement and special site do not state a price, so check the in-game listing before spending MGP.
- Use the title item to obtain the Regalia Type-G mount.
The Regalia seats up to four players, including the driver, according to Square Enix’s 2024 Community team blog. This makes it a mount for carrying three other players, not four passengers in addition to the driver.

The 2026 announcement highlights the Lucian Prince costume set, Modern Aesthetics – Lucian Locks hairstyle, orchestrion rolls and other items alongside the Regalia.

Yes. The event site says progress from 2019, 2021 and 2024 can be continued, and players who already completed the quests can replay them through Seasonal Event Replay. Replay is for revisiting the story: it does not award rewards.

If you are using replay to regain access to quest-related purchases or exchanges from Ironworks Hand or recompense officers, complete the replay quests before the event ends. Those items can remain inaccessible until the quests are completed again, even if you earned rewards in an earlier run.
