The announcement also names cameo performances by Cody Christian as Cloud and Briana White as the Flower Peddler. These performances are part of the game’s Enhanced version, not the original 1997 release.
Who voices the characters in The Ivalice Chronicles?
Square Enix’s June 4, 2025 announcement named the following English cast. The official character site supplies full character names for several roles. The list below covers named roles in those official sources; it should not be read as a complete cast list.
| Actor | Character |
|---|---|
| Joe Pitts | Ramza Beoulve |
| Gregg Lowe | Delita Heiral |
| Hannah Melbourn | Agrias Oaks |
| Timothy Watson | Cidolfus Orlandeau |
| Harry McEntire | Mustadio |
| Ben Starr | Dycedarg Beoulve |
| Cody Christian | Cloud (cameo) |
| Briana White | Flower Peddler (cameo) |
| Emily Carey | Alma Beoulve |
| Eleanor Bennett | Princess Ovelia Atkascha |
The cameo labels matter: Cloud and the Flower Peddler are guest appearances, distinct from the principal characters in the Ivalice story. Carey and Bennett are listed for Alma and Princess Ovelia on the official character site, which also identifies Pitts, Lowe and Melbourn with their roles.
Which version has English voice acting?
The game presents two versions: Enhanced and Classic. English voice acting belongs to the Enhanced presentation, alongside updated visuals, revised and expanded dialogue, a redesigned interface, difficulty options, fast-forward and autosave. Square Enix describes Classic as a faithful version of the 1997 game using the War of the Lions translation. The announced cast should therefore not be attributed to the original 1997 release.

What should you check when choosing a version or edition?
The Enhanced-versus-Classic choice is about the game presentation; platform editions and storefront bonuses are separate purchase details. Check the product page for the platform and region you intend to buy.
- Enhanced or Classic: Enhanced includes the updated presentation and English voice acting. Classic follows the 1997 game with the War of the Lions translation.
- Voice and text languages: PlayStation’s US listing specifies English and Japanese voices and lists multiple screen languages. Those are details of that US PlayStation listing; language availability can differ by platform or region.
- Standard or Deluxe: PlayStation’s US storefront lists Standard and Deluxe tiers. Check that storefront for the current contents and terms rather than assuming they apply to every platform.
- Physical package or digital edition: Square Enix’s North American store describes a physical package version and a Collector’s Set. Its product description says the physical game ships with the collector box but is not inside the Special Art Box, and the physical package does not include digital deluxe contents. The store listing does not establish that a physical edition is offered for every platform.
What is in the Collector’s Set?
Square Enix’s North American store lists a Ramza Beoulve figure; mini plush versions of a Chocobo, Black Chocobo and Red Chocobo; Zodiac Stones acrylic magnets; a pop-up Outlying Church scene; and a three-piece art-sheet set. Availability and terms should be checked on the store listing for the relevant region.
