What comes with the standard game?
Both playable versions are included in the game; Enhanced and Classic are not separate purchase tiers.
Enhanced version
Enhanced adds fully voiced dialogue, an updated and expanded script, overhauled graphics and UI, additional character conversations, and accessibility and quality-of-life options.
Classic version
Classic recreates the original 1997 game and uses the War of the Lions translation. Square Enix describes it as a way to relive the original experience, alongside that acclaimed translation.

What does Digital Deluxe add?
Nintendo’s U.S. Digital Deluxe listing includes the following in-game bonuses:
- Akademy Blade
- Akademy Beret
- Akademy Tunic
- Ring of Aptitude
- Ten Phoenix Downs
- Black and red equipment for Ramza
Nintendo says an internet connection is required to receive the bonuses. Some items may also be obtainable through gameplay, and the bonuses may be distributed or sold separately later.

What is in the physical Collector’s Set?
Square Enix’s North American store describes the physical Collector’s Set as the physical game package plus a separate five-item Collector’s Box. The listed box contents include:
- Special Art Box
- Ramza Beoulve figure in Akademy attire
- Pop-up Outlying Church scene
- Three art sheets: Ramza, the key visual, and the world map
The store says the game ships alongside the art box rather than inside it. It also explicitly states that the physical game package does not include Digital Deluxe content. The listed details do not identify the fifth Collector’s Box item, so it should not be assumed from this list.

How does the Nintendo Switch 2 Digital Deluxe upgrade work?
Square Enix’s stated route is to buy the Nintendo Switch Digital Deluxe Edition first, then use the free Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack. Nintendo likewise says its Switch Digital Deluxe product can be upgraded to the Switch 2 version at no additional cost through the eShop upgrade pack.

Which platforms and release date?
