Where to find the Fingerprint Stone Shield

The item description reproduced by the reference calls it “A great stone shield with an intricately carved fingerprint design. One of the heaviest of all greatshields.” Its listed weight and Strength requirement are practical build considerations: account for equip load and the attribute investment before planning to carry it.
What changed in Patch 1.07
Bandai Namco Europe’s Patch 1.07 notes, published October 13, 2022, state that “The guard strength of the Fingerprint Stone Shield has been decreased.” The official note confirms a decrease but does not specify the amount. Eldenpedia / Elden Ring Wiki.gg describes the historical Guard Boost change as 81 to 77; that precise before-and-after figure is secondary-source information.

Patch 1.07 is a historical balance reference, not evidence of the latest game update. Check the shield’s values against the regulation version you are playing if exact performance matters.
