First identify what you expect to repeat: a single video in a OneStream Live broadcast, a sequence of videos in a OneStream playlist, or a playlist in YouTube’s viewer. These are separate controls. OneStream’s loop count repeats one pre-recorded source video during a broadcast; YouTube’s Loop control repeats a playlist for the person watching. OneStream also offers a separate YouTube-only 24/7 streaming mode for continuous playback.
Choose the kind of repeat that is failing
| What should repeat? | Where to configure it | What the control does |
|---|---|---|
| One uploaded video during a broadcast | OneStream Live’s Pre-recorded Stream setup | Repeats that source video in the broadcast. The OneStream help article documents a maximum loop count of 60. OneStream Live Help Center |
| Several videos, one after another | OneStream Live’s pre-recorded streaming playlist setup | Queues selected videos for a broadcast; playlist streaming is documented for Professional and Enterprise plans. OneStream Live Help Center |
| A playlist for a YouTube viewer | YouTube’s playback interface | Restarts the playlist in the viewer, independently of OneStream broadcast settings. YouTube Help |
| A continuous live channel | OneStream Live’s 24/7 Streaming mode | OneStream describes this as infinitely looping pre-recorded videos on YouTube only. It is distinct from playlist repeat in YouTube’s player. OneStream Live Help Center |
Repeat one pre-recorded video in a OneStream broadcast
Use this when the broadcast should replay the same uploaded source video. OneStream’s instructions cover the dashboard and mobile app; labels may vary as the interface changes. The documented maximum loop count is 60. OneStream Live Help Center
- In the OneStream dashboard, choose Pre-recorded Stream.
- Add the video from your device, OneStream Storage, or a supported cloud storage source.
- Set the video’s loop count. This setting controls repetitions of the source video during the broadcast; it is not the YouTube player’s playlist-repeat control.
- Choose YouTube as a destination, then add the stream details.
- Schedule the broadcast and check its output at the point where one play should end and the next should begin.
OneStream documents a corresponding setup flow in its mobile app. If you are following the app instead of the dashboard, use its pre-recorded stream workflow and check that the loop count is set for the source video. OneStream Live Help Center
Play multiple videos back-to-back in OneStream
If you want a sequence rather than repeated plays of one source, create a pre-recorded streaming playlist. OneStream documents the feature for Professional and Enterprise plans; its free-plan guide says free accounts cannot create or stream playlists. Playlist setup · Free-plan guide

- Select the videos you want in the playlist.
- Choose the destination or destinations, including YouTube.
- Add the stream details.
- Schedule the playlist broadcast.
This configures a sequence of videos for broadcast. Do not assume it also turns on repeat for viewers in YouTube’s playback panel; that is a separate YouTube control.
Loop a playlist while watching YouTube
If the videos are already playing in YouTube and you want the list to start over, use YouTube’s playlist-level loop control. A single-video repeat control is different: it repeats only the current video.

- Open a video that belongs to the playlist.
- Expand the playlist panel beside or below the video.
- Select the playlist’s Loop control. Confirm that you selected the playlist control rather than a single-video repeat option.
On a TV or console, YouTube’s instructions say to select Repeat until the label indicates Repeat • Playlist. If the label indicates single-video repeat instead, change it to the playlist option. YouTube’s help page covers computer playback and links to its TV guidance. YouTube Help: Loop videos or playlists
If the playlist or repeat option is unavailable
- You are trying to create a OneStream playlist on a free account: OneStream says playlist streaming is unavailable on the free plan; the documented eligible plans are Professional and Enterprise. Free-plan guide
- You configured a video loop but expected several different videos: The loop count repeats one source video. Create a pre-recorded streaming playlist to queue multiple videos. Loop instructions · Playlist instructions
- You enabled repeat in OneStream but the YouTube viewer’s playlist does not restart: OneStream broadcast repetition and YouTube player repetition are separate. Turn on the playlist-level Loop control in YouTube.
- The broadcast repeats but the viewer expects the playlist to restart: Check the YouTube player’s playlist control; a source-video loop does not establish that the viewer’s playlist is set to repeat.
When to escalate a persistent failure
The documented steps explain where each repeat setting belongs; they do not guarantee a fix for every account-specific playback problem. If the correct control is enabled and behavior still fails at the transition, record the device and app or browser, whether the issue is in broadcast output or viewer playback, and exactly what happens when the video or playlist ends. Send those details to the relevant platform’s support team.
