The video indexed as Fortnite Chapter 7: Pacific Break – Official Cinematic Trailer is hosted by IGN, while Epic Games independently confirmed the Pacific Break season in its November 29, 2025 update notes. Those sources establish that the season is real, but they do not establish whether IGN’s upload was authorized or commissioned by Epic.
Is the Pacific Break trailer official?
The indexed video listing identifies IGN as the host and gives November 29, 2025, as its date. “Official” appears in the video title, but that wording alone does not prove Epic Games uploaded or authorized the video. Epic’s own Chapter Seven: Pacific Break v39.00 update notes, published the same day, confirm the season and its game content. The available sources do not resolve the relationship between Epic and IGN’s upload.
