The March 25, 2024, report that Drax was coming to Fortnite turned out to be right: Drax later joined the game in the Guardians of the Galaxy Pack. But the reported connection to Kratos was not confirmed. Epic’s cited Kratos announcement covered his original 2020 release, not a joint Drax-and-Kratos launch.
What the March 2024 Drax leak said
TechTimes published “Fortnite: New Drax Skin Leaked, Coming with Kratos, & MORE” on March 25, 2024. The article attributed the Drax timing claim to HYPEX, saying the outfit could arrive around the Chapter 5 Season 2 update. It also attributed to ShiinaBR the observation that Drax appeared in LEGO Fortnite key art. Those were leak-related claims reported by TechTimes, not announcements from Epic. TechTimes’ original report
The season’s official theme was “Myths & Mortals,” according to Epic’s Chapter 5 Season 2 announcement. That context helps explain the timing speculation, but it does not itself confirm a Drax release.
Did Drax come to Fortnite?
Yes. Contemporaneous coverage of the v29.10 update reported that the Guardians of the Galaxy Pack included outfits for Drax, Groot, and Mantis, alongside three back blings, three pickaxes, and two emotes. esports.gg’s coverage of the pack

Was Drax released with Kratos?
The available announcements and reporting do not establish a joint Drax-and-Kratos release plan. The Kratos reference in the 2024 leak headline should not be read as confirmation that he would return alongside Drax.

Epic’s official post about Kratos is dated December 3, 2020, and documents the original Kratos Outfit and Oathbreaker set. It said, “The Kratos Outfit is available now in the Item Shop — either individually or in the Kratos Bundle with the rest of the Oathbreaker set.” That statement referred to the 2020 release, not current shop inventory or a later Drax collaboration.
