You can’t use the original Fortnite quest route to unlock Solid Snake now: Epic’s quests ended on March 8, 2024, at 2 AM ET. That route required the Big Bang Battle Pass, four of five Page 1 quests for the Solid Snake Outfit, and all five Page 2 quests for the Old Snake Style. Epic’s announcement does not confirm another current or future way to get the outfit.
Can you still unlock Solid Snake in Fortnite?
No—not through the original quests. Epic said the Solid Snake quests would remain available only until March 8, 2024, at 2 AM ET. That deadline has passed, so the steps below describe the historical unlock route, not quests players can complete now. Epic’s announcement does not say whether the outfit has since been offered another way or will return.
Epic’s January 23, 2024 announcement described Solid Snake as a reward tied to the Big Bang Battle Pass and its limited-time quests.
How the original Solid Snake unlock worked
- Own the Big Bang Battle Pass. Epic required the pass to complete the Solid Snake quests.
- Complete any four of the five Page 1 quests. They could be completed in any order. Finishing four unlocked the Solid Snake Outfit and access to Page 2 quests.
- Complete all five Page 2 quests to unlock the Old Snake Style.
Page 1 quests: four of five for the Outfit
- Hide in a Cardboard Box for 10 seconds.
- Deal 250 damage to opponents within 10 meters.
- Deal 50 damage with explosives.
- Deal 500 damage with assault rifles.
- Break two security cameras or turrets.
Page 2 quests: all five for the Old Snake Style
- Deal 2,500 damage with a suppressed weapon.
- Use EMP Stealth Camo three times.
- Use a hiding spot in five different matches.
- Assist in opening three vaults or hack three Train Heist chests.
- Damage 10 different enemy players before they damage you.
Will Solid Snake return to Fortnite?
The cited Epic announcement establishes the original Battle Pass quest requirements and their deadline, but it does not confirm a later or future unlock route. Treat any claim that Solid Snake is currently obtainable as unverified unless Epic publishes a new official announcement.
