The claim that Mystique is “finally” getting a Mythic item is not confirmed. The versions of the rumor surfaced in search results date back to September 2020, and they disagree about the weapon’s name. Epic’s official Fortnite updates reviewed here do not announce a Mystique Mythic item.
What the Mystique Mythic leak claims
Search results preserve two different descriptions. A September 2020 Reddit result attributes the name “Mystiques Auto Machine Pistols” to a leaker, while a Fortnite Wiki result describes Mystique as a possible Mythic boss with a Mythic Dual Machine SMG. The underlying Reddit and Wiki pages could not be checked, so neither name nor Mystique’s alleged connection to the weapon is independently verified.

A YouTube result from September 2020 also advertised leaked Mythics and a new Mystique weapon. That title shows the claim circulated; it does not establish that the leak was genuine. The surfaced material offers no verified quote from Epic or a named person confirming the item.
What Epic has officially said about Mythic items
Epic’s June 20, 2023 v25.10 update says Wildguard Relik drops Mythic Cloak Gauntlets and Relik’s MK-Alpha Assault Rifle. This is an example of Mythic gameplay equipment, not evidence about Mystique.

Epic’s August 25, 2023 Chapter 4 Season 4 announcement names past Mythic items including Midas’ Drum Gun, TNTina’s Ka-Boom Bow, Ocean’s Bottomless Chug Jug, Kit’s Charge Shotgun and Shockwave Launcher, Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun, The Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle, and Gunnar’s Stinger SMG. It does not list a Mystique item. These pages describe in-game weapons and equipment, not physical products.
How to assess a new version of the rumor
A resurfaced post or video title is not enough to show that Epic is adding the item. Stronger evidence would be an Epic announcement or a leak that can be directly checked for files, images, dates, and provenance. Until then, the weapon’s name and its supposed tie to Mystique remain unverified.
