Fortnite’s rumored new Spider-Man and Venom collaboration was not a confirmed Epic Games announcement. A September 2024 report described it as a leak, with no details about the possible skins or their release. Ghost Ri-Durrr, the Ghost Rider–Durr Burger mashup mentioned alongside the rumor, was a separate cosmetic that had appeared in the Item Shop.
What did the Fortnite Spider-Man and Venom leak say?
TechTimes reported that leaker ShiinaBR shared a post on September 17, 2024 with the wording “NEW SPIDER-MAN & VENOM COLLABORATION COMING SOON.” The report attributed the post “via @Xgamer3607 & @SpushFNBR.” It presented the claim as a leak, not an official announcement from Epic Games. TechTimes’ September 19, 2024 report
The report said both Spider-Man and Venom had appeared in Fortnite before, but did not identify which versions or cosmetics a new collaboration might include. It also gave no confirmed release date, price, or other rollout details. Whether that specific rumor later became an official announcement or resulted in released cosmetics is not established by the reporting cited here.
Was Ghost Ri-Durrr part of the same release?
No. Ghost Ri-Durrr was described as a Ghost Rider and Durr Burger mashup that Fortnite had made available in the Item Shop after teasing it. Its release was a separate event; it did not confirm the Spider-Man and Venom rumor.

Does Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War confirm the rumored skins?
No. Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War was a related crossover comic released in print and digitally, with issue codes associated with cosmetics, according to TechTimes’ coverage. The cited coverage does not establish that historical codes remain redeemable.
