Epic Games announced it on February 5, 2026, and said the event content was available “Starting now.” The event has ended; its login rewards closed February 19 and its Candy Hearts reward track closed February 23.
When did Fortnite’s Valentine’s event start and end?
Epic announced Love & Legends on February 5, 2026, and said it was available starting that day. There was no single end date for every event activity: the two earnable reward tracks had separate deadlines. Epic’s Love & Legends announcement is the source for the dates and event details below.
What rewards could players earn?
The event offered two distinct reward routes: logging in on separate days and collecting Candy Hearts during eligible group-mode matches. Epic did not publish a Candy Hearts target in the announcement.
Login rewards
- Log in on ten different days through February 19, 2026, at 4 AM ET.
- The first nine rewards were level-ups. The tenth was The Sweetest Shot Loading Screen.
Candy Hearts and Heartie Back Bling
- Play Duos, Trios, or Squads in Battle Royale, Zero Build, Reload, OG, or Blitz and collect Candy Hearts across matches.
- Collect enough Candy Hearts by February 23, 2026, at 9 AM ET to unlock the Heartie Back Bling. Epic’s announcement did not specify the number required.
What Valentine’s gameplay and items were included?
Epic highlighted the Lock On Assault Rifle and FlowBerry Mist Grenade as Valentine’s loot. It also promoted the MK-Seven Assault Rifle and Rumi’s Empowered Sword.

HUNTR/X gameplay items were available in unranked Battle Royale, unranked Reload, and Blitz. Epic’s event announcement did not give item statistics or balance comparisons, so it does not support claims about how these weapons or items performed.
Which skins did Epic announce?
Epic announced HUNTR/X Outfits based on their “Golden” looks, with Shop availability beginning February 6, 2026, at 7 PM ET. It also announced the Jinu of the Saja Boys Outfit, including a Demon Jinu alternate Style. These were historical Shop offers, not confirmation that the cosmetics are available now.

A February 4 guide with a matching title forecast other content, including a pink-haired original skin, Marvel Rivals Wave 2 skins, and Cupid’s Crossbow. Those predictions were not confirmed by Epic’s Love & Legends announcement and should not be treated as part of the confirmed event lineup.

No purchase was needed for the described event rewards: they were earned through logins or Candy Hearts gameplay. For players who independently choose to buy cosmetics, Epic says V-Bucks can be used to purchase Outfits, and Fortnite gift cards can fund V-Bucks and Packs. Epic says newer Fortnite gift cards are gradually replacing V-Bucks cards; legacy V-Bucks cards may remain at retailers in listed regions during the transition. Availability and regional restrictions vary, so check Epic’s Fortnite gift-card information before buying.
