Archived October 2025 shop listings priced the bundle at 800 V-Bucks, but the announced shop and mobile-store promotion ended in October 2025. As of October 8, 2026, check Fortnite’s live Item Shop for availability; Epic has not announced a return date.
What’s in the Fortnite x Dumb Ways to Die bundle?
- Botch: a green bean character back bling shown with arrows through it.
- Dumb Ways to Die Emote: a dance featuring the franchise jingle.
Epic Games announced the collaboration on October 23, 2025. Epic’s announcement describes the items and original promotion.

How much did the items cost?
| Item | What it includes | Historical listed price |
|---|---|---|
| Dumb Ways to Die Bundle | Botch back bling and Dumb Ways to Die Emote | 800 V-Bucks |
| Botch | Green bean back bling | 600 V-Bucks |

These are prices recorded in the October 25, 2025 Item Shop archive, not a current offer or guaranteed future price. How could players get the cosmetics?
Item Shop
Epic announced an Item Shop window from October 22, 2025, at 21:00 Argentina time / 18:00 Mexico time through October 29, 2025, at those same local times. That window has passed. For any possible return, check the current Item Shop rather than relying on the old dates or prices.

Epic Games Store mobile promotion
During the original promotion, Epic said that buying Dumb Ways to Die through the Epic Games Store for mobile would grant the cosmetics if the purchase and Fortnite used the same Epic account. Signing into Fortnite with that account after the promotion began added the bundle to the locker. The announced promotion dates have elapsed, so this is not a current way to claim the items.
Can the items return to the Item Shop?
Epic says the Item Shop rotates and advises players to check back when an item is unavailable. Its shop-return guidance does not give a date for these cosmetics, and Epic says support cannot grant offers that are not currently in the shop. A past appearance does not establish when or whether the bundle will return.

Epic said that items would appear in the Fortnite locker on other platforms when players used their Epic account or linked the relevant platform account. Its ownership and refund terms applied to claims through that 2025 promotion:
Quick Recap
Best Value
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
