Fortnite’s 2026 Star Wars collaboration includes a Mandalorian and Grogu watch-party island, creator-made Star Wars games, LEGO Fortnite Odyssey content, rotating cosmetics, and account-link rewards. But Epic’s 2026 announcements do not confirm new Mandalorian or Star Wars vehicle skins for Battle Royale. Creator islands can use Star Wars vehicle assets; that is different from a player-owned cosmetic sold in the Shop.
What’s in Fortnite’s 2026 Star Wars crossover?
Epic and StarWars.com described a broad Star Wars program in Fortnite during May 2026, with additional park-linked content announced in August. These features appear in different parts of Fortnite and have different availability and eligibility rules.
| Feature | Where it appears | Timing and availability | What players need to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island | Fortnite island | Scheduled for May 19, 2026; the announcement does not establish that the timed event remains available on October 8, 2026. | Included a director’s message and a 10-minute film preview, plus a loading-screen reward for spending 20 minutes on the island. |
| Galactic Siege, Escape Vader, and Droid Tycoon | Creator-made Star Wars games | Announced May 1, 2026, as part of the May slate. | Epic said creators were making Star Wars games with an official toolkit and Lucasfilm assets; weekly Star Wars quests were also announced. |
| Star Wars update | LEGO Fortnite Odyssey | Announced for May 14, 2026. | Features included the Hover Brick, hover vehicles, Mando, Grogu, and Star Wars enemies. These are game features, not vehicle cosmetics to purchase. |
| Star Wars outfits and accessories | Fortnite Shop | StarWars.com said items would rotate throughout May 2026; Shop inventory changes. | The May 19 selection included The Mandalorian (Pen & Ink) Outfit and BDX Droid Sidekick, alongside returning items. Check the live Shop for current stock. |
| Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling | Fortnite account reward | Eligible players could claim it by linking accounts through October 31, 2026. | Requires linking an Epic Games Account and MyDisney Account; see Epic’s May announcement for the account-linking instructions and eligibility terms. |
| Smugglers Gambit reward | Fortnite island linked to a Disney park attraction | The park-linked offer began August 16, 2026. | Eligible guests who accept the mission at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and link eligible MyDisney and Epic accounts can claim the Forsworn Trooper Outfit after the ride. Park admission and reward conditions apply; it is not a free standalone claim for every player. |

Are new Star Wars vehicle skins coming to Fortnite?
Epic’s reviewed 2026 announcements do not confirm new Star Wars vehicle skins for Battle Royale or the Fortnite Shop. They document vehicles in two other contexts: creator-use assets and LEGO Fortnite Odyssey gameplay. Neither is evidence that players can buy or equip a new vehicle skin in Battle Royale.

Vehicles creators can use
Epic’s documentation lists the X-wing, TIE Fighter, Naboo N-1 Starfighter, and AAT as assets that creators can add to Star Wars islands in UEFN and Fortnite Creative. The documentation also covers Mandalorian-themed gameplay items. These are island-building tools and content, not a Shop release announcement. See Epic’s Star Wars island documentation.
Vehicles in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey
The May 2026 LEGO Fortnite Odyssey update was announced with hover vehicles and the Hover Brick. Those are playable game features within Odyssey, not Battle Royale vehicle skins.

The older Beskar vehicle cosmetic
There is a relevant earlier release: on May 3, 2024, Epic announced the Beskar Car Body and related Beskar vehicle cosmetics with v29.40. Epic said they could be used in Rocket Racing, Battle Royale, and supported creator-made islands, and that ownership carried across to Rocket League. That 2024 item is historical context; it does not establish a new 2026 release. Epic’s announcement is “Star Wars Lands in the Fortnite Universe the Eve of Star Wars Day!”.

The May watch party
Epic scheduled The Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island for May 19, 2026, at 10 a.m. ET, ahead of the film’s May 22 theatrical release. The island let players explore Nevarro, hear a message from director Jon Favreau, and watch a 10-minute preview. Spending 20 minutes on the island unlocked the Mandalorian Sanctuary loading screen, according to the announcement. Those were timed-event details; the announcement does not establish that the island or preview remains available now.

The MyDisney account reward
The Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling offer was for eligible players who linked an Epic Games Account with a MyDisney Account by October 31, 2026. Because eligibility and linking conditions apply, follow the official instructions in Epic’s announcement rather than assuming the item is granted automatically.
The Smugglers Run park connection
Starting August 16, 2026, the Smugglers Gambit Fortnite island connected to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Eligible park guests could accept the ride mission, link eligible MyDisney and Epic accounts, and claim the Forsworn Trooper Outfit after the ride. The offer depends on park participation and account/reward conditions. Read the details from Epic and StarWars.com.
Quick Recap
Where to check for current Fortnite Star Wars items
- Shop outfits and accessories: Check Fortnite’s live in-game Shop; the May lineup was described as rotating, so an item’s earlier appearance does not establish current availability.
- Account-link rewards: Use Epic’s official announcement and linking instructions, and check whether you meet the offer’s eligibility requirements and deadline.
- Island content: Look for the named Star Wars experiences and creator islands in Fortnite; their presence is separate from Shop ownership.
- Vehicle cosmetics: Treat a vehicle appearing in a creator island or LEGO Fortnite Odyssey as game content, not confirmation of a new Battle Royale cosmetic. The reviewed 2026 announcements do not announce new vehicle skins.
