A later December 2025 Item Shop appearance reportedly added Doc Brown and DeLorean-themed cosmetics. Those are different acquisition routes, and the historical shop report does not confirm that any of those items are available now.
What was in Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Back to the Future collaboration?
Epic’s Chapter 7 Season 1: Pacific Break update notes, published November 29, 2025, identify Marty McFly as a Battle Pass character. That establishes the collaboration’s launch-season tie-in; the notes cited here do not specify his styles, accessories, or individual unlock requirements.
A separate, later Item Shop set was reported in December 2025. Fortnite News described Doc Brown items alongside a DeLorean car bundle, a Time Flames trail, and an Outatime boost. The report says that shop appearance ended December 30, 2025. This is secondary reporting, not an official Epic item listing, and it documents a past appearance rather than present stock.
How do you get Marty McFly in Fortnite Chapter 7?
Marty was identified as Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass content, not as part of the later shop set described in the December report. The launch season began November 29, 2025, according to Epic’s update notes. The available information does not establish that Marty can currently be unlocked or purchased, nor does it provide the exact unlock steps.

Epic’s general policy says qualifying Battle Pass items may appear in the Item Shop at least 18 months after a Pass expires, but it does not promise that any particular item will return. The policy is a possibility, not confirmation of a Marty McFly release date or return. See Epic Games Support’s Item Shop return guidance for its general terms.
Is Doc Brown or the Back to the Future DeLorean in Fortnite?
Fortnite News reported Doc Brown items and DeLorean-related cosmetics in the December 2025 Back to the Future shop set, including a car bundle, Time Flames trail, and Outatime boost. Its report gives December 30, 2025 as the end of that appearance. Because the report is historical, it cannot establish whether Doc Brown or the DeLorean cosmetics are in the shop now. The report is available at Fortnite News.

Battle Pass and Item Shop content at a glance
| Content | Route reported | What is established about availability |
|---|---|---|
| Marty McFly | Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass, according to Epic’s update notes | Historical Battle Pass inclusion; current availability is not confirmed. |
| Doc Brown and DeLorean-related cosmetics | December 2025 Item Shop set, according to Fortnite News | That reported appearance ended December 30, 2025; current availability is not confirmed. |
Are the collaboration items available in the Item Shop now?
The cited December report does not show current inventory. Epic says the Item Shop constantly rotates and directs players to check the shop for items that are no longer available. Check the live in-game Item Shop for current stock; an earlier appearance is not evidence that an item is available today.
Chapter 7 continued beyond its launch season; Epic’s Chapter 7 Season 4 support page confirms later Chapter 7 content. The Marty McFly Battle Pass inclusion discussed here is specifically tied to Season 1, Pacific Break.
